I wish to give credit for finding and using both the pictures and
information on these listed plants. I couldn’Äôt have done this list
without using the search engine Google.
And I wish to thank and site the following web sites that I used in
this article:

There are probably some other web sites that I have forgotten to
mention, but I can assure you it is not intentional.
I also would like to thank two Bahamian’Äôs, one who I never met
personally, the other, my neighbor for providing me with valued
information and sparking my interest in finding out more about Bahamian
Plants .The first person, is Jack Patterson who wrote a
wonderful reference, Tree’Äôs of the Bahamas, and whom is deceased.
The second person is Donny Carey, who has a wonderful knowledge of the
plants in his native country.
This is not intended to be a complete list of plants by any means. I
have tried to include, those most common plants that people would
encounter when both walking thru habited and natural areas of the Abaco
Bahama region.
